AI Studio Pro ("we," "our," or "the Application") is developed and distributed through the Microsoft Store. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our software.

Our Privacy Commitment: AI Studio Pro is built as a local-first application. Your privacy is fundamental to our design, not an afterthought.

2. Information We DO NOT Collect

Unlike cloud-based AI services, AI Studio Pro does NOT collect, store, or transmit:

• Your conversations with AI models
• Your prompts or queries
• Your generated content (text, images, code, audio)
• Your documents or files you attach or upload
• Your trained models or fine-tuned LoRAs
• Your project files or folder contents
• Personal identification information
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Crash reports (unless you explicitly send them)
• IP addresses or device identifiers

3. How Local Processing Works

When you use AI Studio Pro with local models:

• All AI processing happens entirely on your PC
• Models run using your GPU/CPU - no cloud servers involved
• Your data never leaves your computer
• No internet connection is required for local features
• You can verify this by disconnecting from the internet and continuing to use the app

4. Cloud AI Provider Integration (Optional)

AI Studio Pro allows you to optionally connect to third-party cloud AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Groq, etc.) if you provide your own API keys.

4.1 What Happens When You Use Cloud Providers

• Direct Connection: Your requests go directly from your PC to the cloud provider
• No Intermediary: We don't see, store, or process your cloud API requests
• Provider's Privacy Policy Applies: When using cloud APIs, that provider's privacy policy governs their data handling
• Your API Keys: Stored locally on your PC using Windows Credential Manager (encrypted by Windows)

If you choose to use cloud AI providers, please review their privacy policies:

5. Microsoft Store Integration

AI Studio Pro is distributed through the Microsoft Store, which means:

5.1 License Verification

• The app verifies your purchase status with Microsoft Store to enable paid features
• This verification happens through Microsoft's secure APIs
• We receive only: purchase status (Free/Basic/Pro), no personal information
• Microsoft's privacy policy applies to Store transactions: privacy.microsoft.com

5.2 Updates and Installation

• App updates are delivered through Microsoft Store
• Microsoft may collect installation and update telemetry per their privacy policy
• We do not receive individual user update data

6. Data Storage on Your Device

AI Studio Pro stores the following data locally on your PC only:

6.1 Application Data

• Location: %LocalAppData%\AIStudioPro\
• Contents:
  • Your AI models (GGUF, SafeTensors, ONNX files)
  • Conversation history and projects
  • Generated images, code, and audio files
  • Custom trained LoRAs and voices
  • Application settings and preferences
  • Knowledge database files

6.2 Your Control Over Data

• You can delete any conversation, file, or project at any time
• You can export your data (it's already on your PC in plain formats)
• Uninstalling the app gives you the option to delete all app data
• All data is stored in standard file formats you can access directly

7. Network Activity

AI Studio Pro's network connections are minimal and transparent:

7.1 Required Network Access

• License Verification: Microsoft Store API (on app launch)
• Update Checks: Microsoft Store (periodic)

7.2 Optional Network Access (User-Initiated Only)

• Model Downloads: When you choose to download models from HuggingFace or other sources
• Cloud AI APIs: When you provide API keys and choose to use cloud providers
• Curated Models Catalog: When you browse our recommended models list (downloads JSON catalog from GitHub)

7.3 Completely Offline Mode

• You can disconnect from the internet and continue using all local features
• All local AI models work without any internet connection
• Projects, conversations, and generation features work offline

8. Third-Party Services

AI Studio Pro may integrate with third-party services only when you explicitly enable them:

8.1 HuggingFace

• Purpose: Downloading AI models
• Data Shared: Only when you initiate a download
• Privacy Policy: huggingface.co/privacy

8.2 Cloud AI Providers (OpenAI, Claude, Groq)

• Purpose: Optional cloud AI processing
• Data Shared: Your prompts/requests go directly to them (we don't see it)
• When: Only when you provide API keys and choose to use them

9. Children's Privacy

AI Studio Pro does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The application:

• Does not require registration or account creation
• Does not collect personal information
• Does not have social features or user-to-user communication
• Parents have full control over all application data on the device

If you believe a child under 13 has used the application, please contact us, though no personal data is collected regardless of age.

10. International Users

AI Studio Pro is available worldwide through the Microsoft Store. Since all processing is local:

• Your data never crosses borders (it stays on your PC)
• No data residency concerns (everything is local)
• GDPR compliance is inherent (we don't process your personal data)
• No data transfer agreements needed (there are no data transfers)

11. Your Privacy Rights

Because we don't collect your data, your rights are maximized:

11.1 Right to Access

All your data is already accessible to you in %LocalAppData%\AIStudioPro\

11.2 Right to Delete

Delete any conversation, project, or file directly in the app, or uninstall to remove everything

11.3 Right to Export

Your data is stored in standard formats (JSON, text files, images) - already exportable

11.4 Right to Object

Since we don't process your data, there's nothing to object to

11.5 GDPR Compliance

Our local-first architecture means we don't process personal data, making many GDPR requirements inapplicable. We don't have a Data Protection Officer because we don't process user data.

12. Security

AI Studio Pro implements security best practices:

12.1 Local Data Security

• Data stored in your Windows user profile (protected by Windows security)
• API keys stored in Windows Credential Manager (encrypted)
• No user authentication system (nothing to compromise)
• No cloud storage or database (no data breach risk)

12.2 Application Security

• Code-signed application through Microsoft Store
• No elevated privileges required
• Sandboxed environment per Windows security model
• Regular security updates through Microsoft Store

12.3 Your Responsibility

• Keep your PC secure (antivirus, updates, strong password)
• Keep your API keys secure (if using cloud providers)
• Back up your data if it's important to you
• Use Windows encryption (BitLocker) for additional security

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:

• New features or functionality
• Changes in legal requirements
• Improvements to our privacy practices

When we make changes:

• We'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top
• Material changes will be announced in the app
• The updated policy will be posted at aistudio-pro.com/privacy-policy
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

• You can inspect model files directly (they're just files on your PC)
• No telemetry is built into the models or our application
